Jake Herr

I am an Employee Benefits Account Executive at Harding-Yost Insurance and am blessed to say so! I enjoy the opportunity to work with businesses to creatively assist them with their benefit offerings to attract and retain employees, grow their business, lower exposure, and help the average employee understand their benefit plans all while being as transparent as possible. I am a firm believer in cultivating strong relationships and selling yourself before a product. I strive to work collaboratively with our clients, adopting a team-oriented approach that fosters a strong partnership.

I started working with HYI in September of 2023, bringing along 4.5 years ofinsurance sales experience on the ancillary side of the business focusing on disability, life, and supplemental health. I am a graduate of York College of PA where I played baseball and obtained a degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. I also attended Penn Manor High School.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy fishing, golf, trying new restaurants, and being around my family. I am a member of Zion Church of Millersville where I have been attending since I have been born. When it comes to being a sports fan, I am a diehard Phillies and Eagles fan and try to get to a few games a year.
