In February 2024, I came onboard with HYI, as the new Employee Benefits Director. I come to HYI with 17 years of experience in managing employee benefit plans, starting my journey in 2007.
I have 14 years of experience working under an independently owned insurance agency, along with 3 years of experience under private equity owned agency management.
I really enjoy engaging with clients and helping develop a plan to help businesses navigate the ever-changing and challenging world of employee benefits. From securing best in class benefits within budget and aligning to employee retention and attraction goals in a tough labor market, to ensuring best practices for compliance, we, at HYI, put you as our client and your employees first. We work for you.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh (H2P…sorry Joe) and a Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. I also hold an HR Certificate degree from Central PA College.
I grew up in Lancaster City, attending J.P. McCaskey High School, and currently live in the Manheim Township area of Lancaster County. I am married to my wife Jess & have two kids, Destiny & Dylan.
While not actively attending to HYI business, I enjoy attending and watching sporting events and traveling. I’m a Pitt college sports & Philadelphia pro sports fan…Let’s Go Birds!
