Karen Martzall

Hello, my name is Karen Martzall. I am the Chief Operations Officer at Harding-Yost Insurance. I have been here at HYI for over 5 years and have worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years. I manage the day-to-day operations of HYI and relationships between the insurance carriers and our agency. I truly enjoy working with our talented group of employees who work hard and have a lot of fun together. Prior to HYI, I began my career working for a local insurance agency in claims and commercial lines marketing and transitioned into a commercial account manager role and supervisor/team leader. I also worked for a wholesale broker as an underwriter as well as broker/account manager in the professional and environmental liability industry. I have my ABA in Business Management with a Computer Information Systems concentration. I hold my P&C license as well as the CISR and CIC designations.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband Ryan, sons Cole and Alex, and my favorite mini-goldendoodle, Jessie. You’ll catch me attending every event my kids are a part of and traveling to anywhere that has warmth, sunshine and water!
